Description

A signed water colour art print illustrating Hexhamshire in Northumberland. Reproduced from an original, this as a high qulaity Giclee print. Philip spent his early childhood growing up in an area surrounding Hexham called ‘Hexhamshire’.  He lived on a small holding with his family during the 1950’s.  In the foreground of the picture stands ‘Pasture House’, Philip’s former residency. As a boy, Philip remembers the famous Spitfire aircraft that used to fly over his home. It was flown by Sir James Robb, a family member of the former Robbs Department store in Hexham. It is illustrated here making a low pass over Pasture House. To the foreground, a brand new Fordson Major Tractor is standing. This is a type preferred by the artist.

Signed by Philip.
